Mark Scarrow
B COMM., CPA, CA
PARTNER

Mark likes the challenge of business change, both within his client base and within Scarrow Yurman & Co. He believes the practice of public accounting is primarily an exercise in human communication — stating that “the numbers are the easy part”. If the communication is executed on a backdrop of values that embody ethics, innovation and passion, with a splash of loyalty and light heartedness, Mark thinks his firm can truly help clients attain their business and personal goals.

More recently, Mark is concentrating on business advisory services, business succession planning and personal and corporate tax planning opportunities for clients.

Outside the office, Mark is an avid traveler, water-sports enthusiast and gardener. He has supported 1st Unionville Scout Group for more than 10 years as Treasurer and Group Commissioner. His favorite activity was the camping experience—especially during the winter!   More recently he volunteers as President of the Leonard Lake Stakeholders Association, where his beloved “cottage” is located and where he likes to spend weekends and summer vacation time whenever possible.  A long standing member of the Markham Board of Trade, Mark co-hosted the Thursday morning Networking Breakfasts for more than 10 years.
